Guardian: When the Wheel of Life expands your clients’ family…

The average age of a first-time mother in the UK has risen to almost 2 (1). with 47% of women now not having children by the age of 30 (2). Why is this relevant for the protection industry?

Because, by default, many providers automatically include children’s critical illness cover (CCIC) within a critical illness policy even if your clients don’t need it. And who wants to pay for something when they can’t use it? Nobody. That’s why, at Guardian, we don’t include CCIC automatically.

Your clients can simply add Children’s Critical Illness Protection when a child is on the way, and they can choose any amount between £10,000 and £100,000, to a maximum of their own amount of cover.
